Hold up- we're holding up?! A slight hiatus on the project


Hello! How are you doing? Well I hope!

So... what is this all about? I will put this game on a temporary Hiatus that "should" last one or two months. There are multiple reasons for this, but there are some essential ones:

  • My motivation is weird: I will admit that motivation is not my strong point and if I stick with anything for too long, then more time will be spent doing nothing than something. So to spice it up, I'm going to focus on different stuff so that it's reignited. I could bring some fresh new ideas and features to the game too ;)
  • More learning is needed: the previous sub-post focused on how to shake up the behaviour, and that's great. But to really see how it works without anything of the game interacting with it, it needs to be solo'd and experimented with.
  • My brain is dumb: I'm preparing for a big step in a couple of months' time, and I want to also focus on that as well. Which means learning some things and relearning other things.

So what can YOU, the loyal reader, expect from me? Well, I'm also thinking of doing week and weekend game jams so you might see a small project here and there. If I can make the demos into something, you can try out then I would do that too.  If I find something to write about like the recovery plan for this game, then you can expect that too.
